Some things disappear.

Not because someone deliberately gives them up,

but because, over time, distance quietly grows in between.

A word is spoken less often.  A habit falters.

A sound, a gesture, a small piece of knowledge slowly withdraws from everyday life.

"Before Cultures Fade Away" is a an art exhibition designed to look at these slow and silent disappearances.

You only need to consider one question:

Is there something small you do not want to disappear?

It may be a word. A sound, a daily habit. A childhood memory. A road, a stop, a trace…

Wanderer's Room is a shared memory space founded by a traveler, 

located in the stone room beneath a mudbrick village house.
